IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING 

Creative Human Resources Concepts, LLC (CHRC) is currently recruiting for direct hire position for a client located in the Midwest within manufacturing & fabrication of utility industry products and telecom industry. Qualified applicants must be seeking full time employment. These positions are NOT turnaround work or project status assignments. 

Quality Manager - CWI 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Develop and maintain systems to establish standards related to Quality Control activities and products, and measures performance against established standards. 
• Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. 
• Analyze and write test procedures; maintain documentation of results; and consult with Department Directors and other personnel in resolution of problems. 
• Directs employees engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability. 
• Plan and organize daily activities of the QC Inspectors plant wide on all shifts, and assure the tests are performed in accordance with the Company’s and Customer’s standards and specifications. Will have 1 direct and approximately 20 indirect reports. 
• Effectively communicate and resolve issues arising out of the production processes, as related to quality, across all levels of the organization. 
• Maintain all project related inspection documentation, and monitor adherence to standards and actively checks for accuracy of data received or generated before passing it on. 
• Ensures that the Quality Manual for Wireless product is properly written and maintained. 
• Perform internal audits as required. 
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively. 
• Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. 
• Ensures that the Company and Employees maintain appropriate certifications. 
• Promote and acts upon employees’ ideas for improvements in areas of quality, safety and work environment. 
• Coordinate special quality projects/studies. 
• Less than 10% travel required. 
• Some training may be required within Texas facility. 
• Boots on the floor but probably more time behind a desk will be required. 
Skills:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: 
• Strong Utility industry experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with minimum of 5 years of successful quality management 
• Current or previous certification as an AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) 
• Current or previous ASNT SNT-TC-1A for Level II Certification in Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle inspection methods, and be familiar with non-destructive testing methods 
• Prior experience in the Tower and Pole industry highly preferred 
• ISO or AISC Audit or certification experience 
• Knowledge of the American Welding Society AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong organizational skills and problem solving ability 
• Ability to work with and lead others effectively as well as working independently on specific projects 
• Strong general office tools skills, i.e. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and EPICOR preferred 
• Sensitivity to the nuances of cultural differences and the ability to help others with those differences 
• Ability to plan, organize, and co-ordinate resources to ensure projects are completed in an efficient manner 
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize competing priorities 

Any job offer is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, physical, criminal background check, education and employment verifications. PAY RATE: $100k to $120k/yr.
